A discription of my background
I have been associated with Wath Golf Club since joining as a junior aged 13.
I began working under Chris Bassett at Wath G.C in April 1998 after completing my A level exams.
I commenced the PGA training programme in October 2002, graduating in May 2006. I achieved 9th place on the Titleist Assistants Order of Merit out of over 180 assistants. Graduation from the PGA gives a Level 3 standard coaching certificate in line with the National Coaching Strategy.
I have recently completed the PGA Neuro Linguistic Programming Sports Practitioner Award with Dr Karl Morris (Sports Psychologist to Darren Clarke, Andrew Flintoff) and Jamie Edwards of Trained-Brain.
As part of the PGA Professional Development Programme working to attain level 4 and 5 coaching certificates I have attended the following seminars:
I have conducted Tri-Golf sessions at a number of Junior and Primary schools in the area. These schools include Sitwell, Aston Fence, Elsecar,Sacred Heart and Wath C of E.
I have being running the Young Masters Golf coaching scheme at Wath G.C for 3 years for junior golfers aged 6 to 14.
I began the Golf Development Programme with great success at Wath G.C in 2006, now in its third year.
Wath G.C became an Explanar Swing Trainer Centre after the acquisition of the Explanar in spring 2006.
Wath G.C is also a PING, MIZUNO, BENROSS AND MACGREGOR club custom fitting centre.
